Project Overview:
Our client, a resident of a charming row home in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC, needed to address a rodent issue in their backyard while creating a more functional and inviting space for entertaining. The goal was to enhance the area for family gatherings and outdoor dining.
Solution:
To tackle the problem, we installed a durable paver patio, which serves as a stylish and practical foundation for entertaining. To combat the rodent problem, we incorporated planting beds reinforced with bedding wire mesh along the property line, effectively deterring pests while supporting vibrant plant growth. Additionally, we designed a dedicated grilling and dining area, optimizing the layout for seamless outdoor meals and socializing.
Results:
The transformation resulted in a rodent-free, aesthetically pleasing backyard that perfectly meets the client’s needs. The new paver patio and protected planting beds, along with the enhanced grilling and dining space, have turned the backyard into a functional and welcoming environment for family gatherings and entertaining.
