Backyard Patio Extension in Cleveland Park
A wife and her husband who is blind wanted to extend their patio further into the backyard with edging that allowed him to navigate safely.
Introduction
These homeowners are a retired couple. The husband is blind, so they wanted to convert a large area of their backyard to a patio with diagonal brick edging so he could navigate safely. The edging was important to ensure he would be able to discern where he was in the yard.
We also built a small little “nook” requested by the wife where she could sit and do her daily morning exercise and meditation practice.
